Is christmas a good time to get engaged?

Is Christmas a good time to get engaged? A friend of mine took me ring shopping for his fiance and I wondered if Christmas is really a good time to get engaged.

yes and no, depending on how you look at it. On one hand, it's the time of year when people are really joined together and generally seem happier, so in that sense, it would be the perfect time of year for a wedding, plus, you'd get to go on a honeymoon somewhere warm, which would be a real switch from the icey cold ( depending on where you live.) On the other hand, there's already a lot of stress and money being spent during the holidays and having a wedding would just mean added stress and even more money spent. There's the pros and cons, you weigh them out. Peace.
