Is 5 years too big of a difference?

well, I'm a sophmore in highschool, and my brother is a freshman in college, he has this friend thats a junior, and we're a lot a like...hes a great kid, I've only hung out with him once with a bunch of people and hes a ton of fun. But I'm not saying a want to date him, but I just want to get to know him. Is 5 years too big of a difference? Hes not a freak that would take advantage of me..hes a good kid..

I dont think the age matters (even though if he were to do anything sexual with you, it would be considered rape since you are still a minor) I think if both of you guys are on the same maturity level, it's fine. But I would at least wait until you are 18 before you date someone in college.
