Ipod problem

when I plug my ipod in it syncs and all that but it wont let me play thru the playlist. like I click the 1st song but they wont play. it use to but it doesnt anymore

how do I fix that?

all you need to do, is click 'ashleys ipod' or what ever and it will come up with a picture of you ipd and underneath is a selection of four check boxes, you need to click 'manually manage music' and stop just syncing it
