Ipod lasts never

AHHH omg. okay, so I have the ipod chromatic, I recharge it like, for a whole entire effing day!!! after a days worth of recharging, it lasts for only an hour!!! can someone tell me why,
how to stop that make it last longer?? its really annoying

Sounds like the battery no longer holds a full charge.

If it is still under warranty than Apple should cover installing a new battery.

Otherwise the repair is to have a new battery installed. There are places that install batteries cheaper than Apple charges and have longer warranties.

It should still be under waranty than. Apple should fix it for you.
