Internet pals?

So a guy that I met online is wanting me to meet up with him so we can talk about things and maybe get together. But I'm having trouble of getting over the fear of meeting someone off the computer in real life. Has anyone else had this problem or any good suggestions that I might be able to follow? He is a really sweet guy he is 25 and I'm 21 if anyone is wondering.

I have a situation similar. A year ago me and this boy were talking over the internet. Now I'm going out with his cousin for 3 months. I've never seen him but we plan on meeting up during the summer. By then I'll know if he's real etc. We talk on the phone and all. I would reccomend just talking to him until you feel fully comfortable.

I met sombody off the internet, I knew him for 8 years, I spoke 2 my mum 1st and let her know and I had friends in town without the lad knowing and I took 1 friend with me when imet him and I made sure I had credit and my battery was charged! I txt my mum every half an hr leting her know im ok!! make sure you tel somebody or you take somebody with u. I spoke 2 this lad on the fne every nite I also had web cam chats with him so I knew he wernt no dirty perv! take care when you meet somebody off the internet!!! good luck!! xx

you've seen his picture before right. If you do decide to do it I would suggest bringing a friend the first time and meet up in a public place. Try not to give out too much personal information (where you live, work, ect) even face to face

yes we have both seen one another over the computer, but I also did see him at the store before however, I was to shy to go up to him and chat. So this isn't like a complete stranger, it is just that I'm scared because we have never met in person and had a one on one conversation. We have only been talking for 2 weeks, but these past 2 weeks have been great and we both have loved every second of it.

just make sure you are careful
don't get in a car alone with him
don't tell him where you live or work
make sure you are in public and make sure you tell people where you are
you can never b 2 safe
