What?! Why would you tell her to smoke marijuana to get more sleep...moron...lol
Hummm...Listen to white noise or relaxation CDs. Avoid before-bed snacks, particularly grains and sugars it will inhibit sleep. Sleep in complete darkness or as close as possible. No TV right before bed. Wear socks to bed. Um thats all I can think of rigght now... might help lol
if you really had insomnia you would be seeing a doctor. because people with insomnia like myself dont sleep for days tossing and turning is a huge understatement of the disease. and since you said your falling asleep a few hours before... well maybe you just have things on your mind. try writting in a journal before you go to bed. I know it sounda silly but it could really help.
lol I have the same problem.
weed isn't the answer. it just makes you feel shitty in the morning
here are some things I've tried
long walks before bed
meditation.
reading
sleeping pills
painkillers
workout before brushing teeth and going to bed
quiet music.
warm milk
relaxing/sleeping tea
dark as you can get.
cool open bed so you don't feel really hot.
think sleepy and begin to feel lazy a couple hours before going to bed.
I've tried all these things and some of them worked for a little while, but maybe they'll be all you need to sleep good again.

Insomnia... cure?
I have really bad insomnia, and I've been loseing a lot of sleep, is there neway to cure it? or at least help me sleep more...
I took sleeping pills but they dont work good.. im still tossing and turning at night and falling asleep a couples hour before...
I have to get up for work.
(I've had it for a long time now)
