Inflation theory

Charon, Hydra, and Nix Asked by bbbb about 1 year ago, 1 answer.

According to Inflation Theory by Guth in the first decillionth of a second of the Universes beginning, the Universe expanded about a Quattourdecillion, or 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 times faster than the speed of light....

If the speed of light is the fastest speed possible for anything to travel at, then how is Inflation possible? Please give suggestions. Thank You.
