Because your uterus still has to shed it's lining every month.

Yes you do still have your menstrual cycle. The only way you don't have your period is if you had a hysterectomy(removal of the female reproductive organs).

Yeah, your uterus lining needs to shed every month, and just because your eggs are defective, it doesn't mean that they still wont be released every month.
