You should try a band called Metric. The lead singer is the girl from Broken Social Scene and it has an indie-electronica feel to it. They have a couple albums out and one EP I think.
You can also try out Sia, The Bird and The Bee, Kat Flint, Blonde Redhead, CocoRosie, St. Vincent, Au Revoir Simone, Camera Obscura, Patti Smith, Faded Paper Figures, Lali Puna (Scary World Theory is really the only good full-length album for her).
