How can I make myself stop liking my friend?

I have always dated boys but there is this girl Jenny and I really like her ...like a lot. Anyways the thing is she told me she likes me to BUT, my bff Ashley and her liked eachother before and Ashley is over Jenny now and she said I could ask out Jenny if I wanted to so I did and Jenny Isn't over Ashley and she was like, 'Alanna I like you and I would love to be your girlfriend but Im not over Ashley'. Its just sad because I dont know how to make myself stop likeing her. Any Ideas about what I should do?

do you just really like her, or do you like her sexually? there is a big difference! do you think she likes you the same way? if so, then you might want to try it out and see what happens...
