Immigration?

yep that's me Asked by ktine_23 about 1 year ago, 7 answers.

How do people from other countries feel about immigration issues? In the states its a big issue for some people. To me both sides have good points, but both side can also be very ignorant.

Immigration doesn't bother me at all. I get a little irritated when I'm at the doctors office or the grocery store, pretty much anywhere, and the employees help the mexicans, chinese, japanese, oriental, or african americans first because they will holler discrimination if they dont get waited on first. I've never been out of the country. Maybe they do the same thing in other parts of the world. But it still makes me mad.

Well for me (being Native American) I was raised by my mother, and she has told me a lot about what her great grandmother would tell her, and so on in generation. White people came to this country, did they get pushed out of the border, no. They were welcomed. I really think it's stupid people think they can rule a country about who comes here, and who doesn't, considering white people made these laws. I'm not racist, but that is what I believe myself.

Another side to it though, is over population. We can't have too many people in this country, rooming is running out. And a lot of the immigrants are some bad people (if you saw in the news about the one that killed a womans husband and two sons), that is what is need of preventing.

That's just my opinion.

I agree with you ladydon there are good points on both sides, I once heard someone say its too bad native americans didn't have stricter immigration laws! I am so on the fence about this issue and when did it first become an issue? I am fifth generation american and people assume that my family is from mexico. Nope not the case!

wow, so mexicans, chinese, japanese, oriental, or african americans will claim discrimination if they aren't waited on first??? That is a racist statement...

In answer to the original question...I support immigration...but I hate racism...
