is it normal 4 a girl to ask out a guy, and if so can she have a friend do it 4 her?

I wouldn't really ask my friend to do it. It might give the impression that you don't have enough backbone to ask him yourself.

If he really likes/loves you, he should ask you out. But if he wont, simply run the question by him, ask Hey, what do you think about dating? And go from there.
