ahhh!!!...I feel anger inside of me at this very moment...I keep on playing the song im not jesus by apocalyptica and corey taylor over and over...by any chance..does this mean I have sumthing against god/jesus???...could I be following my uncles foot...

I listen to metal because when I am angry, it keeps in tune with my emotions. The way I feel is synchronized with my music. I used to be angry a lot, so metal music grew on me. I now appreciate it for the soothing memories it brings, and the badass confidence it instills.

It doesn't make you a bad person or anything if you like a song... I love that song and I used to listen to it quite a lot. Metal (as tunkenstein mentioned) does get stereotyped by foolish people. Metal songs can be more inspiring in most cases than songs from any other genre (my opinion). Maybe you just like the tune, beat, singing, etc. Liking this song doesn't necessarily mean the lyrics are bringing out the evil in you, lol.

Definitely not a positive influence - I believe dangerous - we need to be careful not to open doors that can lead us to destruction.

Metal isn't evil. I know truly evil people that listen to country, rap, and pop. Metal gets a negative stereotype- don't try to fit it.
