Getting rid of the game would be the best way.. or have someone else in your family hide the game..

Lol WoW is a popular game, and it's known to be addictive, like a lot of MMORPGs, so you're not alone happy. The reason you're addicted to it, and why anyone else is addicted to other MMOs is because in games like that, the main point is leveling up, because you get better abilities and whatnot from doing so; there's always something better for you to get as you level. There's no way that you can beat it in a day happy

Well, well, well. Yet another innocent victim falls prey to World of Warcraft. =)
I started a year ago and was very addicted too. I would play for hours on end and sleep became somewhat of a second priority. Like funadvice said, it's all about the leveling. Even after you hit 70 there's still so many things to do, and you can always make new characters. But now I am going to college and working two jobs so I don't have that much time for it anymore.
So I think the best way to ease off on the WoW time is by busying yourself with other things. There are some things that you just HAVE to put first. Like, I can't function in school if I don't get a decent amount of sleep. =) And homework needs to be done as well.
I'm not completely cured; I still have to go on once a day for maybe five minutes to check my guild, but at least I'm not playing for endless hours anymore. (Well, not every night at least.)
Hope this helps!
