Im a felon and i scard because i cant find a job!

I'm so stressed out... I’m a 29 year old male. 2004 I was convicted of a felony for getting into a fight with another man my same age. Long story short, I threw one punch, he ended up with a broken jaw. I took it to trial too prove I was defending...

myself, and lost. I was convicted of a 243 (d), battery with great bodily injury… If you have a hard time believing I was sent to prison for the here’s the case#62-30585, Placer county courts in California…. The judge sent me to prison... I also have 2 misdemeanors for domestic violence when I was 18, and again at 20... Before I lost my trial, I just graduated for Jr. College with a degree in liberal arts and business administration... I was transferring to a four year college to continue my education and my football career... The judge thought I would be a better idea to send me to prison. In the judges exact words. (I’m sending you to prison because you wasted my time and the courts time...) So basically I was punished for defending myself and exercising my rite to due process... So I go to prison, never even did jail time prior to this little odyssey.. I finally get out and was on for three years. I never violated and at the end of the 3 years I discharged... During that 3 years I cant get a job, cant afford to support myself, cant afford 2 go back to school... basically I struggled. No family, no help, just me and my felony... But I never lost hope... I discharged parolee aug. 11,2008... the day I discharged I petitioned the court to expunge my misdemeanors, and was granted the expungement!!!... 2 more years I can file for a certification of rehabilitations... That suppose ably expunges your felony... So now, more then ever, I’m in survival mode. Try being a felon during a recession... its screwed... Just recently I went down to the military recruiters... where else can a healthy, in shape, educated guy redeem himself? Well just 2day I found out the military can’t give me the waivers needed to get in. That means, Im not getting into the military!!!... Not bragging but I did score a 69 on the ASVB. That good... I keep trying to do right... I try to give back... I offer to serve my country, and possibly give my life to persevere the American way of living... But, No way!!! Not you... look somewhere else... I don’t no what to do... im broke... cant join the military. Can’t get a job... Nothing... im so frustrated and pissed off... How can I survive honestly??? If I don’t figure something out soon. I quit possibly could become homeless... Any help, job, or realistic advice would be very appreciated.. I don’t have any more options... I’ve tried everything I can think of... HELP...SOS!!!

You tried fast food restaurants? How about construction? I know somebody who works for Arizona Pipeline and she's been in trouble.. Sorry I don't really know how it works...Hope it gets better for you though. =)

Hey it sucks what you are going through I myself is a felon myself. And I know exacally what you are going through. I know of some places that hire felons. a lot of call centers hire felons.Im in NM if you have like home depot or a lowes they hire felons. Walmart is also. a lot of places hire felons cause they get paid for hirin felons
