Why do people have sex for reasons other than procreation. God says that people should not have sex with anyone other than a spouse and that they shouldn't have sex for reasons other than procreation? If people have sex for reasons other than procreation they will go to Hell and suffer forever because they are being defiant of God's will? Why do people have sex for reasons except procreation, even though it is in defiance of God? Why aren't condoms, abortion banned since they are in defiance of God's will?

I'd like to make it clear that Christians don't follow what bbb was saying - that sex is only for procreation. Bbbb isn't a Christian and I respect his right to have his opinion, but as a Christian who had great marital sex this morning (and last night, come to think of it) and has no intention of 'procreating' any more children, I'm very happy to report that Christians are aware that God made sex for love and fun, as well as having babies.

Should I be 'fau' on this one, having given you details of my love life? Oh well...

Wow I can't believe how much you're a religious zealot. Have you ever thought your wrong? Apparently not. Not everything is this world is based on god. Besides there is freedom in the states so if you want some stricter rules then move somewhere else so you can be a hardcore religious zealot there and nobody will have to hear your complaining. Maybe you should worry about yourself than what everyone else is doing. You will not save any souls because you don't know any life lessons.

As for your question - People mainly have sex not to try for a child but because it feels DAMN GOOD! Thats a fact and I'm sorry if you disagree with this but that would put you in the minority.

Regarding your view on banning condoms, you would be condemming millions of people to years of sufferring and death through the spread of AID's and STD's.

Even people who are trying for a baby and who may have caught AID's via a blood transfusion or at birth. Is this what your God wishes?

Perhaps your God should spend more time protecting those millions of innocent children in the world who are abused, starving, dying, neglected etc...

Maybe I believe that your all powerful God is neglecting his duties by allowing these innocent children to suffer. What crimes have these innocents committed? Please tell?

I think God is always smiling when nice and friendly men and woman make gentle and enjoyable sex, independently on that they are spouse or not, and want procreation or not. But that is true: God wants all the fertile and healthy men and women having kids during their life. We have got the life, and we should transmit it. This rule comes of that we are mortals, but the life itself is immortal.

Besides do you understand the implication to women by such a question? For procreation the man HAS to org**m but the women doesn't have to. That is denying a woman of pleasure... she doesn't even get to org**m and has to go through the excruciating pain of childbirth? (sorry but I smell some sexism.)

So why would ''God'' give women the ability to org**m if it has nothing to do with procreation?

Although I suspect that the ability for woman to have orgasms/pleasure from sex(which as you point out, are not required for them to get pregnant) is a clear sign that all woman have been touched by the devil!

Thats wierd as I have heard that when a woman has an org**m it helps the sperm travel to the egg for fertilisaation. Us women need the org**m !!! It help to make the baby !

-I actually get tired of explaining this question because the answer is so obvious but nonetheless I will state it again. All people suffer because of their sins. Sinless people cannot suffer. You cannot be innocent and suffer. Even if you are 100 percent pure which I doubt more than a few are you still have to pay for your sins from innumerable lives before this previous one. The whole reason people are even put on this Earth is because they are being punished for their sins. The only reason we suffer is because God is making us pay for sins from this and previous lives, so stop complaining!

I guess you don't know that condoms protect against AIDS, STD's and pregnancies.

I don't plan on having any more children. One is enough. So, I can't have sex anymore. It is against my Krishna Conscience religion to have sex for reasons other than procreation because it is defiant of God.
