Some people get stomach pains, some people get a lot of acne. If anything weird like that happens you need to tell your doctor to get put on a different kind. Yes, you still get your period while on it. It does regulate your period though, which is always good. Whether your on birth control or not, the guy still needs to be wearing a condom. There have been cases where women have gotten pregnant while on birth control because of not using more protection. It does decrease the changes, but doesn't 100% protect you. Anther reason why you still need to be using a condom is because birth control doesn't protect you from STD's at all.
Headaches are common. Dryness of the vagina, mood swings.
I didn't have any side effects from mine. It depends on the woman. I have my period every 4 weeks on a Monday morning. The effectiveness relies soley on the type of birth control you use. My pills are 99.9% effective when taken as directed (every day at the same time). That means that one out of a thousand pregnancies are not prevented by the pill. Every (smart) sexually active woman I know that is not married uses condoms, even while taking the pill.
Side effects can happen and if you have any you should consult your doc asap. When you buy the pill it comes with a pamphlet with the list of possible side effects. You should read it the list. IT is quite long but not many poeple suffer from side effects.
Yes you still get your period unless you continuously take the pill without taking the one week of sugar pills that comes in a 28 day cycle. Some woman prefer not having their periods at all but you should discuss this with your doctor.
As for cuming in you well that depends on you. He doesn't HAVE to, that's a choice you can both make together. And as others have said the pill does not protect you from STD or HIV so it should be used with a condom.
blood clots if you are over 35 and smoke. You could also get acne, weight gain, breast tenderness, breast enlargement, headaches, moodswings, fatigue. These side effects are not as common anymore since the dosages of these pills are quite smaller than the past.
All of above are true but you should have a leaflet when you get your birth control pills in a box. Medical internet sites will help. Try searching on Google
