I want to turn emo

I dunno how to dress or how to cut my hair emo.how can I?

Unfortuanlty majority of the people who talk about emo and majority of the kids who call themselves emo still have no idea what the word actually means
this obviously includes you
and its just disgusting and sad
Emo is nothing more than a style of dress and a genre of music
it has NOTHING to do with cutting (self harm)
depression (a mental disorder)
suicide, eating disorders, ect
because feelings and emotions play NO part in any label or stereotype
which is what majority of the kids who talk about emo and majority of the kids who call themselves emo still don’t understand
only be emo if you actually want to
but remember, you can still take parts from different styles and incorporate them into your own style without slapping a label on yourself
so really. Just be yourself, if it’s actually what emo really means, be that
if its not, don’t pretend to be something your not
and WAKE UP
start living and stop cutting over stupid problems that dont matter
you have a life, LIVE IT

Most emo's that I see at my school have some of their hair standing up while in the front is brushed or combed in front of their eyes,and they where either striped colored clothes or the Nightmare shirts all the time,course every emo person is different. Don't call yourself emo,you just live into it like they all have done.

go on google images and look up scene hair. I aint emo but I am gettin my hair done like that. print of a picture of scene hair/emo hair and take it to a salon and ask them to do that style and they will..

They're right though, asking stuff like this only makes you sound like a big time poser... and it's probably true. You don't just turn emo. Emo is a music genre and a type of style. You probably don't even know the true facts behind emo as a style. No hair style is emo. Have whatever hair style you want. Hair has nothing to do with stereotypes labels. Neither does the way you dress. Just be YOURSELF. Don't worry about fitting into labels/stereotypes.
