You should probably go talk to the people who run your town and ask them if you could put up posters and then eventually get like a town meeting and invite as many people as you want.. from your town and towns around you and talk to them about the situation and if they would want to help.. you can have raffles and stuff and give gifts tot he ones who win and stuff like that and all the money you get you can keep saving and eventually if your parents let you, you could organize a group of people and go from town to town talking to people :].. And about the part that you said that because of us not doing anything someone died or because we didn't help some one died.. thats not true.. Its none of our fault that they die.. its not their fault either but you can't just go and blame everyone for something we didn't start in the first place... and hope you know theres A LOT of people who can't help out, maybe they are tight on money or they got their own family who is sick to worry about.. so I dont think its nice of you to say thats its our fault for what those people are going through.. Its no bodies fault.
The blame thing was to get people to realize what is going on and I'm more so talking about people who can give and don't, such as people at my school or super rich people. I'm not sorry if it offended you though.
I mean yeah those people in tight situations, those situations aren't nearly as bad as the poverty in Congo or Somalia. I'm saying everyone can spare a penny, a smile. They can also talk to more people and get everyone provoked. We need to get angry and shocked enough to finally DO something. Thank you anyways

I want to make the difference now.

I want to make the difference now.
I want to donate money or food or anything to a cause that really needs it.
People at this very moment in Ethiopia or other poor countries are dying of starvation and disease. Time for them is crucial; it is right now.
I want to do as much as I can to...
help them. But I want to do something BIG like a fund raiser because my parents wouldn't be able to donate more than $20, and even that is a maximum. I figure if everyone in world gave one dollar to Ethiopia- the poorest country in the world, they would get 6.8 billion dollars.
How do I get people to come together in this? Nobody cares.
How can I get you all to realize that because you did nothing someone died.
Because you did not help out with what you can, someone died of malaria, genocide, starvation?
