Asked by cassidyx about 1 year ago, 3 answers.

Okay, I'm 16, about 5'2 or 5'3, and weigh about 100 lbs but I have some fat on my stomach. I want a flat stomach where you can see my abs and such. I run a mile everyday but I'm just curious what I should eat everyday in order to lose weight fast on my...

stomach so it will be flat and I could possibly see a 4 or 6 pack. Thanks!

respond soon happy

I don't like vegetables besides banana peppers PS.

Examples of protein-rich foods for a flat stomach are:

1. fiber and complex carbo in vegetables and fruits

2. Some protein foods, particularly red meat and dairy produce contain CLA, conjugated linoleic acid, that will increase lean issue and may therefore increase metabolic rate.

3. Eggs contain amino acid leucine which can help the body to burn fat and control hunger

4. Fresh nuts like almonds due to their omega oils

5. Spices, particularly chili

6. Caffeine-containing drinks like coffee, green tea, chocolate. Do note that it is not advisable to drink more than 3 or 4 cups of coffee as this will have adverse affect on health

7. Low-fat yogurt, fat-free milk, fish and poultry

uhm...you are underweight already. at 5'2-3 the average weight is 110.

but you can do cardio workoust, join a yoga class or do curlups on an excersise ball.

eat healthy!! is celery something you dont like?? you actually burn more calories eating it than you gain. [ps. it's delicious with raisins or P.B. on it!!] try fruit. most fruits are veerry healthy.

if you like eating out all of the chain sandwich shops are healthy. [subway, jimmy johns, etc]

How to GAIN or LOSE weight?

First, determine from the information below, what your weight should be. Then set yourself goals of a week, 2 weeks, a month, 3 months, 6 months and a year. As you see yourself meeting your goals it becomes easier. Remember, you didn't gain or lose your weight overnight so don't expect to gain or lose if overnight. Plus, if trying to lose weight, weight lost slowly is more likely to stay off than weight lost in a hurry.

How can I Lose 1 pound of body weight per week?

One pound of body fat is equal to about 3500 calories. So to lose 1 pound of weight per week, you need to eat 500 calories/day LESS than you burn.

But it's not a good idea to lose weight simply by cutting calories. As well as decreasing calories you should increase your daily physical exercise. This helps to burn calories and build more lean tissue which in turn burns more calories.

What should a minimum calorie intake be?

As a guide to minimum calorie intake, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) recommends that calorie levels never drop below 1200 calories per day for women or 1800 calories per day for men. Even these calorie levels are quite low.

Another thing that helps to lose weight is to always eat a good breakfast. That helps to jump start your metabolism which helps start burning calories. Also, try to drink 8 eight ounce glasses of water every day. One before every meal (except breakfast) and before all snacks. That helps curb your appetite which helps reduce caloric intake.
