How can I dye my hair without hair dye?

why dont you just buy hair dye? O_o

Okay, darlin’, let me explain something.

If you are putting Bleach (gasp!) and peroxide in your hair, you have already added way harsher chemicals in your hair than what hair color uses. You may as well just go to a professional and have it done. This is how hair color works:

You have a bottle of the color and a bottle of peroxide. The peroxide strips your pigmented color from your hair shaft, allowing the color bottle to work by depositing color onto the hair shaft.

If you just put peroxide in your hair, it will strip the pigment, leaving your natural hair color lighter. But you need heat to activate it. You need to spray that in your hair and go in the sun or sit under a dryer. The problem is that it will only lighten a few shades and it probably won’t be an even color. And it rarely comes out light enough for most girls.

Bleach–I have on idea on earth why you would put bleach in your hair but then turn around and say you don’t want to put dye in it. Are you talking hair bleach or laundry bleach? Hair bleach will strip all color from your hair and leave it Marilyn Monroe blonde. Laundry bleach–I dont even know why or what that would be for.

Just go to a professional, tell her what you want, stop experimenting with household chemicals.

I use permanent marker, kool aid and ketchup. just coler it in with the permanent marker. if you wanna use kool aid, you mix to packets with some viniger. then you get a paintbrush and dip it in and start painting your hair. wrap foil around it and leave it in for 4 hours. then take the foil off and rinse your hair. if you wanna use ketchup, just squirt it in and leave it in for an hour.

I use an eyeshadow pencil to do tripes since my mom won’t let me dye it. but you can just bye the extentions with color. $80 for 16 inch at sally’s and $4 for 1 inch clips. that for the synthetic hair.

i currently have light brown hair and wud like to dye it ash blonde bt im allergic to toluene how would this be possible?
