So I've pretty much given up on asking this question on, I want to be a model but all I get back is your ugly or your trying to be a model, don't try to be a model, I want answers that are tell me the truth, but dont put me down in process, if you don't...

Just ignore the people who are being nasty for the sake of being nasty. I've had people comment on my photos saying I look like a slut. I ignore it.

I'd suggest getting together a portfolio of photos of yourself to show your potential. If you haven't already done this, it is not only good to have it as back-up when applying for work, but also to be able to look at and learn how you can further improve.
Get someone who can take a good photo. Or go to a professional photographer and tell them what you want. Doing this is expensive but it can be a great experience as you will learn tips tricks from them (I have professional photos taken once, it was great.) If not it is okay to do it yourself. Take as many different photos as you can using different settings, poses, outfits, and camera angles. Do not over-do the makeup in every pic. try to have at least a few pics with very minimal makeup. You need to show variety. A good model MUST be able to take a good photo. Look at the photos and think about how they could be better. Take inspiration from models in fashion magazines - they often have quirky ideas for photos. When you are done pick out the best photos and put them together in a neat portfolio. Then your next step is to research where to go from there. Check job advertisements on the internet/newspaper or ask around to see what is available.
It is a very hard market to break into, as there are sooo many girls who have that dream.

You have really pretty, and clear skin from what I saw in the picture. The skin is the most important part of becoming a model from what seen and researched. I don't see why most models has to have the perfect body though. I feel like it takes away the persons individuality. lolz You also have pretty eyes. I personally wish I had perfect skin as of without acne, and blackheads, and I wish that I have the perfect body. lolz I hate covering up with make-up. I personally believe its how you dress it! *snap* *snap* ^_^ Your hair also seems to be in good health.lolz Just make sure you keep your skin and hair healthy.

you do not have to be drop dead beautiful to be a model. its about hieght, weight, and your pictures. take a look at americas next top model. a lot of those women are down right flawed and ugly. yet they take stiking pictures. you are a cute girl. dont let others put down your dreams.

I agree with one of the people above who said if you can't handle negative comments then you shouldn't be a model. You need to have a thick skin to be able to handle nasty things said as it can happen a lot in the modelling industry. I know a girl who works as a model as a part time job - without makeup she looks rather plain. But she knows how to work the camera as she knows her best features, her best angles, different poses and expressions. Plus her body is very in-proportion. Makeup and clothes can do a lot but you also need that certain something that sets you apart from the MANY other hopefuls. What kind of model do you want to be??
