How can I use gel to get spiky hair?

I want to od a spiky hairstyle but my hair is short,wavy.please give me instructions on how to do it!!!!!!by using gel!!!!!!!A.S.A.P

Well I have wavy hair as well & gel doesn't work IMO try some pomade but use only a little on your fingertips rub it together on your fingertips & take your fingers to your hair in a pinching motion keep doing that all over your head & it will form spikes. =)

streighten it then gel it lol x

use lotts of hair gel and try 2 dry it with a blow drier
