How can I stop having crushes?

I always had crushes before, to my schoolmates, some celebrities, classmates, etc.. and I found out that when I got crushes, I take them seriously.. hello! it's just a sort of 'crush', I mean why would I take it as if I'm in love? anyway, this summer I had a crush and I want him to be special from any other crushes of mine before him.. then I decided that I want him to be my last crush, no more to follow him.. I don't want to feel it again to other guys, just to him.. and when classes start next week I made quite a promise to myself never again have a crush in the school 'so I want to stop!'.. but I don't know if I can trust myself for that.. but I really wanted to stop having crushes!!! please give my some advice on how to be strong not to look at guys or be interested with them.. and how to make my last crush this summer a special someone even though I know that later on, the feeling for him will come to pass...

ok when I was having a bit of boy trouble I ended up talking to my sister-in-law about it and she lent me this gr8 book! I'm afraid it is religious but has quite a few good points in there and should help with your problem and well you never know you may end up being a christian! I havent actually stopped dating as when I started the book I knew thats not what I wanted to do. but you sound like you could make it work and although I didn't really want to I did end up almost giving up dating altoghter! the books called 'I Kissed Dating Goodbye' and is by joshua harris. I'm not sure where to get it seeing as it was lent to me but I suspect places like WHS and waterstones should have it or would be able to order it in for you!

um well I think that you should accept the fact that every one gets crushes and they come and go so I would just get used to it

I suffer from the same problem. You see, since like I was in 5th grade I have had crushes, my 5th grade crush was on Johnny Depp, and I was obsessed. LOL, than a crush on Daniel Radcliffe. Then I finally had a crush on a guy at school in 8th grade. I was so shy, obsessed that I never really talked to him but put notes in his locker, and stuff, which is stupid. That was years ago but I feel stupid for it. This year I have a crush on this senior, I'm a junior, and well...if you read what I asked from my profile...I was stupid, and I feel I shouldn't have sent that message. Anyways, I have a new crush each year for some reason, and a couple of them have been people I have been going to school with for a long time! Just try and get over it like I'm trying, it's hard though! Guys are hot!!! LOL!

hmmm, I dont think you can stop having crushes, I have tons of crushes too & I always get really upset if he dosent like me back. its pretty effin stupid of me, but oh well! haha...but try going into someting like a GIRLS sports team, are I don't know, but well you get the idea right?
