totaly and it spelled ferret. lol I used 2 get that wrong alll the time. but just remember ferrets are almost like having a baby if you take care of it proporly and go the extra mesures to keep it healthy. do some research and learn a lot. I have a ferret, his name is cosmo. I love him so so so so so much but he can be a pain. they get into things all the time and can fit their bodies anywere their head fits. so keep that in mind. ferrets also need lots of play time during the day so you need to make sure you have lots of time and love twards the animal. if you have any questions of need any help just funmail me hope you get a ferret!!

I think we're allowed to have pet monkeys, but not ferrets. haha

I have two ferrets a boy and girl, non related. They are a BIG responsibility. They need to be played with constantly. Lucky for me our two ferrets are HOUSE trained. They have a cage with a litter box but only go in the cage to use the litter box. They sleep in my sons bed or on one of their many beds throughout the house. They do ghave to be locked up when no one is home though. They are very friendly animals. You must clean the litter once a week, it is the urine and feces that smell not the animal itself. We bath them once every twoo weeks and cut their nails. Although if you leave the door open when showering they will run in the shower, they love it. All ferrets have differant personalities. Just like any other animal. Our male is very calm and answers when called and our female loves to chase feet and play, a lot. So remember they can live in cages completely but I don't reccomend it unless you bring them out to play a lot. Its very hard work so if you really want one do all the reasearch before hand!

Ferrots tend to get paralyzed easily in the back legs. I dont want to be a party pooper but I want to save you the trouble so you dont have to go through with having to put your animal down it effects your life.

Ferrets are VERY odorous! If you are planning on keeping it indoors, then it will take A LOT of work to minimize the smell.
