First step is find a partner. Second is make sure you use protection. Third is to understand that only abstaining from sex will ensure that you don't become pregnant.

Fourth, consider carefully - very carefully - what you're going to do, as there is always that chance you'll become pregnant...and besides, at sixteen if you do have a baby, your life will forever be changed. There's plenty you can do without going 'all the way', but if you've made up your mind, just be safe, and make sure that your partner cares for you & isn't just using you for physical gratification.
