I told her I liked her, was it a smart move?

Okay, I told this girl I liked her, and now I'm startin to regret it, I've only known her for a month, she's 3 years younger thant me (I'm 17, do the math) and I dont know...I really like this girl, I'm not all about sex, I really want this girl....how can I tell if she feels the same?

I dont know...I'm upset about it, cause now it feels awkward, anyway, what should I do? :-\

Telling a girl that you like her takes a lot of guts..especially at your age..im 20 years old and still sometimes hold back on telling a guy I like him..and before I get a chance to tell him its too late(hes with someone else)...dont wait until its too late tell her..and not only that ..if you never told her you would always be asking yourself'what would happen if I did tell her.''
