Depending on the situation, yes.

Your only 13 years old, you have a lot to life for and you shouldn't be depressed at all. You live basically for free and you can do almost anything you want without serious consequences.

Taking pills won't work, and talking to a paid 'therapist' won't do much since your so young. This is something you should do on your own, just focus what you think is good for you, think about yourself, love yourself and your friends. At least you have a mother and a father that love and care about you.

If you look at the world around you then you will notice that there is so much that you could do to be happy compared to people in other countries that don't have families, moms, dads, a place to call home. So let's consider you lucky for the moment and be happy with what you have already, know what I mean?

Just try to focus on what's best to make your life better, don't be sad, just because you can. Be happy for yourself, and because you can. Don't let other people let you down, because your never out. Don't let life grab you by the throat, if it does, then you'll be sad. Be happy for the fact that you can live another day to see the sun, hear birds, and see new life spring around you.

Your 13 years old, and there's so much in our world to explore, enjoy it while you can, we can't learn everything in a single life time.

Good luck.

hello there
Firstly of all What has caused this severe depression? The reply I give depends on the cause of your psychological disturbance.

What has CAUSED YOU TO FEEL THE WAY YOU DO ?
Do you drink alcohol, take drugs or has something traumatic happened to you to cause this ?

have you attempted suicide already if so how long have you been under the therapist

and what medications are you taking?

(you can e-mail me privatly with this information to keep it confidential.)

Yes, you will get through this and you will be OK just keep on seeing the therapist, taking your meds and I will pray for you.
God Bless
