Sorry about the first comment... Perhaps it was taken without the mischevious not malicious gesture I had intended it. The purpose was to hearken the advisors to broaden their tolerance levels a bit. That and to display a little more diversity of opinion.. not just demographics when selecting future advisors.
My criticism was light hearted... there is a grain of truth in most anything said and I acknowledge that. If I offended anyone... please accept my apology and at least entertain my reasoning.
Who stands to lose from being a little more open minded?
I have been criticized numerous times here. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. I can take my lumps. I can hopefully learn and grow from them when warranted. I'm not obstinate. I was broken from that at an early age and to my benefit.
It is hard to be taken as intended when communicating in this type of venue. I try to impart a sense of my humor into responses. If I fail... it is my own fault... but despite how it may have seemed... I didn't intend a haughty upright reprimand. Anyone who knows me knows that I have no feelings of the sort... far from it in fact. Not to pull the punch of what was a somewhat pointed remark here... I think it came more from a place of frustration than condescension.
It is unfortunate that it was decided to remove it in my opinion. It isn't that big of a deal... It was hardly worth this paragraph... that is until it was removed... I see that as a slight to me and anyone who takes the time to share an opinion... good or bad here... If I could pick to keep only the good things in life and none of the bad... well... me personally... I wouldnt have much of a life.
