I need to know before it too late...

ok here's the deal...I've been going to out with my boyfriend ever since friday and my mom doesnt know that we're going out but she does know that I like him. but see I would tell her that I was going out with him if I wasnt grounded till further notice....

so I'm pretty sure you can see my problem here. I dont know if I should tell my mom that me and jake are going out.

Try and have an honest talk with your mom about boyfriends and such and see if she is receptive. Explain to her that you want to be more upfront with her about things in your life and people in your life and see how it goes.

Ok so how am i suppose to open the conversation to tell her?

I'd say just bring it up to her nicely, while she's in a good mood. Make sure to ask her how her day is going first, and try to give her a piece of *good* news. Then, lay the whole boyfriend thing on her nicely see how it goes. Good luck.

Well she kind of read a note that i wrote to him and she asked me about it and now she knows and she likes him too! I should have just told her when me and Jake started going out, but whatever.
