How long do Shitzues live?

An average of 10 to 16 years depending on how healthy the dog is.

Quality of food and health care, weight maintenance, exercise, medical prevention and care, general physical safety, genetic background, and mental and emotional health all figure into the longevity of the dog.

Mine only lived till he was 4. His siblings lived a little longer, 6, 7. But the mother of these pups lived till she was about 12 or 13.
