Why is he acting hot and cold with me?

out with one of my best friends then they broke up, and i started to like him, my friend is COMPLETELY fine with it this i know. so about acouple days before v-day (he told me he liked me before this, so did i) he called me and asked me to be his valentine, i said that i would like that and so there i was his valentine, and then i asked him wait are we going out know? and he said well were not technecally going out, since we haven't actually gone out, but i sure i guess you could say that. and i was SOOOOOO happy! but see it has been about a month since then, and he recently told me that he loved me, and i just MELTED! so i said it make, and all of the suddon he just stopped and it seems he doesn't talk to me at school anymore. all of my friends are saying that i should leave him because he only wants to be with me cause im hot (ha i don't think im not but whatever) and he wants me as a trophy cause i am kinda popular but not the mean kind. and people have been telling me this ever since i started liking him! and see im not even sure if were tegether in anyway? cause i don't know if he wants to b with me or not, and i DON'T want to be with someone if they only want to be with me because of my looks, and as a trophy! and im sorry i wrote so much, but PLEASE help me! cause i really like him, but im not sure how things will work.

Thanks for the compliment hun, ok now in this situation he has actually stated to you that he loves you, now you cant say that to someone and then stop talking to them so he has turned out to be hot and sweet but mean and cold at the same time. He has lead you to believe he really likes you and you could possibly be going out but without actually saying those words to you. Now what you need to do is stand up for yourself cos you are no fool and no doormat and wont be treated like this cos you are better! talk to him at school when you see him and ask him straight out....um.....hello remember me your supposed gf? like to know where we stand? cos being in limbo sucks, its best to know so you can either start going out for real, or start moving on cos you can get so much better than this loser! find out where you stand asap!

Try calling him,
when he's not around his friends.
Talk to him.
Ask him wtf is going on.

If he continue's to not talk to you,
just forget him.

If he can't give you the time of day,
then he's not worth any of your time.

After you said you loved him, too, he stopped talking to you?

Maybe he was just saying that to see what you thought,
maybe he is scared of commitment,
and he tihnks since you said you love him,
that's what you're aiming for.

I don't know for sure, hun,
men are different, weird, and truely complicated.

Just try and talk to him.
