How do i fix brownish-orange hair?

my mom died my hair because it needed it because of the my root. i am going on as trip tomorrow and i dont like my hair. my mom says it looks like it is golden yellow and it is suppost to be that but its not . my hair color is now like brownish orange....

and i hate it it looks really bad how do i fix it whats the best way to get it out or make it lighter ???

maybe try washing your hair without using the conditioner they give you. if you try and dye your hair again with a lighter shade it could harm it more than help it, or you could go get your hair stripped which removes the color.
