OK MY BOYFRIEND BROKE UP WITH ME AND TOLD ME HE WOULD THINK ABOUT GETTING BACK TOGETHER WHILE HE WAS ON VACTION...HE GOT BACK TODAY AND I ASKED HIM ABOUT IT AND HE SAID THAT IT#039;S quot;DOUBTFULquot; THAT WE GET BACK TOGETHER ANY TIME SOON...AND...

WHEN I ASKED HIM WHY HE SAID quot;BECAUSE THE LAST THREE TIMES DIDN#039;T WORK OUT WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THE 4TH TIME WILLquot; I TOLD HIM THAT IF WE BOTH TRIED OUR HARDEST THAT IT COULD WORK OUT...I MEAN I REALLY LOVE THIS GUY AND I PERSONALLY THINK THAT HE#039;S THE ONE FOR ME...WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO DO...HOW CAN I SHOW HIM OR LET HIM KNOW THAT IT COULD WORK???? PLEASE HELP ME

There is no way you can tell him it will work. And you can only show him if you two are together again. And that seems to be all up to him. So your hands are tied at the moment. But in this moment--you can work on you. And that#039;s how I would use this time. If he gets back with you, great, you will have worked on yourself and perhaps get over the obsticals that worked against you the last 3 times. If he doesn#039;t get back with you, then you still win because you have improved you.

I recommend getting and reading quot;Relationship Rescuequot; by Dr. Phil. Read it from cover to cover and learn about you and your part in any relationship.

Other than that, I must ask---why is it okay with you that he breaks up with you to #039;think#039; about if he wants to be with you or not? This is like pushing you off the road and telling you to wait until he gets back from having fun and then he#039;ll decide if you are worth putting back on the road. Why do you give him this power? He will continue to treat you this way for as long as you let him.

And he might be one of the ones for you. But there are and will be others. Work on yourself to be the person they will want to be with.
