I need help losing weight

im 15, 5'5-'5'6 and I weight 148 pounds, im alittle over weight and im trying to lose it, but I need help, I dont know exactly what foods to eat and I want them to taste yummy =].
I dont dring soda, I stopped pigging out on junk food and fast food, I...

cant eat breakfast but I eat dinner and lunch I do sit ups everyday and walk home from school(I live far), do you think I will lose atleast 15 pounds by july?
and if not can someone give me some advise on to help lose it.

I think you're missing the most important meal of the day and that is Breakfast. I don't like water that much so instead I get the Green Tea packets (Honey and Lemon) and pour it in a bottle of water and drink it throughout the day. I've lost 64lbs by changing the way that I eat and by working out. I would eat my dinner food for breakfast and my breakfast foods for dinner so that way I would be eating lighter stuff at night. I got off caffeine and starting drinking the green tea only unless it was sprite or something that didn't have caffeine in it.

Also, it depends on your body frame... what is your ideal weight? You don't want to get too small otherwise people. will think you're on something or just too thin.

I think what you have said is a good start just watch calorie intake I'm 5 6 too and I'm 140lbs I've lost 24 lbs since nov. Do your BMR to see your cal intake which it should be 1400 and like sub 500 to loose weight need anything else funmail me

You could always try pilates.

Also, you MUST eat breakfast. Throw a whole wheat bagel (make sure its whole wheat, a lot of brands say they are, but in reality are not, learn to read nutritional labels - whole wheat generally has a good about of fiber in it) in the toaster when you are brushing your teeth in the morning and put some peanut better on it. Eat it on your way to school in the morning.

Follow what ocean said with the BMR, and divide that by 5. That amount will be what you should consume 5 times a day. This will boost your metabolism. Eating 2 meals a day is slowing your metabolism down, even if you are eating very little.

Losing 15lbs by July will depend on your body style, the more there is to lose, the quicker you will lose it. Those last few pounds are always the hardest.
