Recyclable materials are transported to a processor who prepares them for sale to various recyclable markets. Recycled materials are remanufactured into new products and packaging.
Newspaper, cardboard and other papers are baled and shipped to a paper mill where they are made into new paper products
Glass is crushed into cullet, mixed with sand, soda ash and limestone, melted down and made into new glass bottles and jars and used in such projects as road construction
Plastic bottles and jugs are made into new plastic bottles, plastic lumber, carpeting, fiberfill and even some clothing.
Aluminum and steel/bi-metal cans are melted down to make new cans and other metal containers.
Yard waste is turned into compost and mulch, which is used as valuable soil amendments.

How are things recycled?
I have some homework where I have to find out how certain things are recycled. I have searched on google and askjeeves for over an hour now and I haven't found anything. This is what I have to find out:
1. How aluminum foil is recycled.
2. How plastic bottles are recycled.
3. How paper is recycled.
If you could give me some sites where this information is one it would be REALLY helpful. ( I need to find out HOW it is recycled, like how it is made into new things. Not how you can get it recycled.)
