I fast every year and I dont put on any weight (inc. when I try =P)
but you could try to eat tons of fibres in the morning, then work it off during your fast. then when it comes to maghrib time, yo could eat a little less.
And another thing that seems to help my friends is that they go to the taraweeh every night - and pray the whole prayer standimg. That kina burns of calories when you get towards the end of the prayer...

I need help!! badly!! please read!?
im muslim so im going to start fasting soon for a whole month! last year I gained six pounds!! I dont want to again weight this year or slow down my metabolism. this year I wanted to lose weight and possibly fasten my metabolism.. but how? I run 2 miles...
and 3 quarters every day, so after I break my fast ill still do that. I know what kind of position fasting will put my body in but I dont want this to happen but I need to fast. so what do I do to lose weight and not damage my body or slow down my metabolisim? please help!! all help would be very much appreciated! thank you=]
