Should I choose the guy or my friend?
im really close to my guy friend. except my best friend( girl ) likes him a lot. and he asked me out. except my friend said that if I go out with him she wouldnt talk to me anymore. should I choose the guy or the girl? im not sure if a boyfriend is more inportant then a friend. I need HELP!
this is one of those “it depends” situations. You say your really close with him, is she just as close to him or no. I alway’s say stick with your frineds, because most relationships won’t work out anyway. But thats only if they are a true friend and you can trust em with your life, because some friends come and go too. This girl threatening not to be your friend anymore if you date him, doesn’t sound like much of a friend to me. It seems like she would screw you over pretty quick if given the chance, those arn’t the friends you want. Because the ones you keep closest to you can hurt you the most. So the question is, if he asked her out and you gave her the same option, what would she do. I say never let a relationship get between your friends, but she just doesn’t seem like much of a friend if she’s willing to break off the friendship over a guy. That just shows the amount of loyalty she doesn’t have. If she’s willing to end it over this guy, mabey you should too.
I say go w/ the guy. If your friend is threatning you because of the guy, then, she not a good friend. Good friends would think that if you’re in love with him, then go out with him, not say they won’t be your friend if you go out w/ him. Pick the guy, not your friend. Trust me, if you stop being friends w/ her, you would not feel ashamed when she stop becoming friends w/ you.
Never comply to a extortion. This question should be disscussed calmly and frendly, not like this “anymore”. Ask for her objections, etc,
tell the guy to hold off for a little while and sit down with your friend and talk to her.
