That will be difficult to share emotions with that young of a peer group. And the counselors tend to hold a stigma for one in high school whereas later in life you will find that people pay really good money to talk to someone. My wife is in her master's program to become a therapist and she sees one every week as it is required for her schooling, but she also loves to express herself to someone.

Ok, so my advice would be to look forward and realize that the time you are in now is short-lived and might seem like an eternity but there is a lot of life to live yet. Surely something makes you smile? Depression is a state that can be detrimental to your mental well being as well as your physical health. Don't ignore your problems, fears, or hang-ups. Learn to accept them as part of yourself. Focus on the horribly institutionalized work that your teachers are forcing you to produce and don't expect to be rewarded for good work (schools play more to the LCD). This is just a stepping stone to your path in life. I personally saw this late in school (a junior near the spring) and spent the next year and a half proving that I could ace every test and excel in every class. These were personal goals that gave me a sense of accomplishment. Just as soccer did as well for me. I went to college and could have done a lot better minus all of the partying, but I enjoyed every bit of it. Life is sometimes about finding purpose. Some find it in having children, for some it is helping others, and for many more it is about enjoying your days on this earth.

There are some good people on this site (and maybe a few less savory). You can funmail any of the advisors to ask questions or get tips on life. Everyone will have a different opinion. You are a cute girl. Be careful, and try to find a reason to smile even if it is a pet or the morning sun or catching your breath after a run. Live life for yourself.

Smile =) There are billions of people out there and a whole world to still discover.

life can really suck sometimes, but you just have to stick it out. if you're feeling depressed, find somebody you can talk to without feeling ashamed. if you never try to discuss it, you'll never get over it.
friends can be idiots sometimes, but most of the time, if they're true friends, they'll try to help you out in any circumstance, and will, or should, understand why you're feeling depressed. just try to stake it out, you'll make it through.
if it's worth anything, just remember, that shortly following bad experiences, are really good ones to keep you going (i know it's kept me up)
best of luck, and i hope everything works out for you,

hi well if the people you are trying to talk to is impossible then maybe they are not quite as good to you as you think friends embrace good and bad! if your not liking yourself find the reason why? maybe you have made some choices in the past that disappointed you? so forgive yourself for them and just wake everyday being more positve towards yourself and others! sometimes spking about same issue everyday just becomes monotinues to yourself and others so sometimes actions of good heart and soul can do wonders happy
