Where do i go from here?

I haved loved this guy for 4 years straight. from the first day I told him I liked him till this day forward.
Im stuck, the number 4 is my unluckest number anythin that has the # 4 its bad luck. Its been 4 years this yearr its startin to fall apart....

we were never together but he knew I liked him at one point, but not he doesnt know I still like him. Its been 4 years like that.
To get to the point. He feels like he has nobody even though he has a great family friends he thinks theres somethin or somoene missin just hasnt found that person. I want to support him tell him to find what hes looking for. BUT I want to tell him I haved liked him for so long, That im in front of him always haved been I want to tell him Its me that hes looking for. I just dont know how to do it. I feel like its not worth it, like its going to be randome. My heart is open to both pain the best. So please help me I need advise. This is so hard for me, I have kept it in so long, that I just dont know where to go from here.

My bestfriend (recent ex) liked/loved me for 2 years while she was there for me while I was getting out of another relationship. We became bestfriends and it felt it would be best to just go for it, because at that point I did like her, and I knew she liked me.

So what im saying is, maybe its best if you kinda hint to him, or maybe let him know. Maybe he is hinting to you, if you are the one he is talking to saying he feels like something is missing, than maybe it is you. He may think you lost interest a long time ago, and the feelings could be mutual.
