WELL BEING THAT YOUR WHITE AND YOU HAIR GETS OILY AND YOUR HAIR REQUIRES DAILY WASHING ITS REALY PERPOSLESS BE CAUSE FIRST IF ALL YOU MUST WAIT 1 WEEK BEFORE YOU GET THE PERM TO WET YOUR HAIR AND THEN AFTER YOU GET THE PER YOU MUST WAIT AT LEAST 8 DAYS -2 WEEKS B 4 RE WETTING YOUR HAIR AND THEN HEAT ON TOP OF A PER CAN CAUSEA LARGE AMOUNT OF YOUR HAIR TO BREAK OFF SO I SAY TICK WITH PUTTING IN CURLERS OF USEING A CURLING IRON AND CURLY PERS MAKE YOUR HAIR MORE WAVY ESPECALY WITH THE LENGTH AND WEIGHT OF YOUR HAIR
I can't use curling irons my hair wont stay curled and um... just cause I'm white doesn't mean my hair is oily. I dont use the harmful products that make my hair oily.
Also... I take showers and wash my hair twice a day because I WANT to. I hate the thought of becoming dirty. I've gone a week at camp without washing my hair before.. it wasn't gross. =/
well... all I know is my mom has gotton them before when I was really little and I talked to her and she says it takes 24 to 48 hours not a week before I can wash.. and I can still take showers in stuff. So yeah.. I think I'm going to go with spiral cause... well my mom is going to do it too so I wont look horrible alone if I do.
I had a perm. It does damage your hair, and it also needs constant care. Washing your hair twice a day wont be good for the simple fact that you need to mouse your hair and you will go through a lot of mouse. You can wash your hair a day after youve had it done, or as soon as you want really, salons just advise waiting a week so they dont get bad comments if anything does go wrong. Also when your hair grows out a bit, it doesnt look good and you have to spend hours straightning it, which also damages your hair...My perm took a year to grow fully out to about 15cm long. Judging by your picture, it will take a hell of a long time to get back to the length you have it now...Hope this helps, Aimyyy xXx

I'm thinking about getting a perm
Hey, I'm thinking about getting a perm and would like to know some stuff.
1. I have long hair ( more than hafe way down my back) So what kind of curls should I get... I dont want to have short hair
2. Will it damage my hair because the only time I...
put stuff in my hair or have it blow dryer is when I am getting it cut... the stylist always puts the junk in my hair.
3. Have you done it, what were your thoughts..
Feel free to add in more details.. cause I have really no clue.
