Am I to fat to cheerlead?? some guys saw I had a cheerleading paper and said "YOUR TO FAT TO CHEERLEAD!!!" I was so sad so I'm asking am I?? I know how to cheerlead but I can't do certain things because of weak ankles..!!!
Aww. Don't think that way. I have a heavy set. girl on my team and she is totally one of the best. but, it will be hard. because, of extra body fat. But that's not a reason to give up what you like doing. You could be a base. in cheerleading. and a base is one of the most important things in cheerleading. I'm a flyer. and Ughz! If I didn't have a good base. I'd be on my butt. So. Whatever. Don't let that take back from what you like doing. It's your life. I'm Guessing your in about highschool. I don't think middle schools have football teams? Well atleast in Floirda they don't!! And if so, Honey these are the best days of your life. don't give it up. cause if you do. you'll be 30 years old. wondering. "WHAT IF" follow your dream. You can do it. Mauhz!!!
No, way cheerleaders need basers and holders, the only thing is typically overweight people would be looked at as weak, so if it's a tryout they might be hard on you. But as far as cheering itself they need stronger/heavier people in certain moves and cheers so I don't think your weight would prevent you from cheering.
Hun, I do cheerleading and, your never to fat to cheerlead! dont listen to them guys there just jealous that you have found something you love and want t continue doing and they dont! on my cheerleading squad there is a girl about your size or slightly bigger! dont worry! do what your heart says! there will always be stereotyping for cheerleading...but it really doesnt matter what size you r. Not all cheerleaders are going to be skinny blonde girls...u have a perfectly healthy body wait...u look healthy

no hun there was this girl that weighed over 300 lbs at my school and she was great youll be fine...dont listen to what bos say effect you...they are stupid and mean and hurt others to make themselves look good
Theres girls at my school that...have something a little extra...and they still cheerlead...theres nothing wrong with that...dont let others judge you or shoot down your dreams... ^_^
don't let what other people say keep you from doing something you love. You don't look heavy at all, so as long as you can overcome your weak ankles you should be a great cheerleader.
YOU ARE NEVER TO FAT OR TO SHORT OR TO ANYTHING TO DO SOMETHING YOU ENJOY DOING!!!11 GO FOR IT JOIN PROVE THEM WRONG.
Don't listen to them, if you want to cheerlead -go for it!! Don't let a few words from some guys stop you.
