It could be what your calorie intake a day is...
Count calories and make sure you aren't going over 2,000
Eat small portions and if you are hungry between meals eat an apple.
omg im having the same problem at the moment
Im doing EVERYTHING
in order to stay healthy and to have a nice body but no change.
infact im PUTTING ON weight!
and im doing literaly everything
its so annoying
last year it worked for me
and I was staying healthy and had a good body etc
but now nuthing
it feels like no matter what I do im gunan stay this way
so then I give up hope thinkin ok if dont fuss too much ill lose some fat naturally
but I end putting on weight STILL
so then I go on a detox, excercise a lot, eat real healthy, have tons of antioxidants
and still NUTHING!
its so frustrating
lol anyways just to let you know your not alone
and good luck, hope you have more luck than me lol
Okay, can I just point something out here- putting on weight is not necessarily a bad thing. Muscle weighs more than fat, so when you're working out, the fat is burned and your muscle mass improves. so yeah, you might find you're putting on weight, but you're toning up.
Also, if you're looking to shape up around the tummy area, find exercises that work on that specific area. While jogging etc is great for cardio, it's going to tone up your legs more than your midsection. Stomach crunches are good for toning your mid section, and theirs a bunch of stuff you can do on a swiss ball to target different muscle groups on your body. I just started using some excercise DVDs that someone recommended to me, and they're working wonders.
well, I thought so too, that the weight might be muscles, but then my body isn't toned up. its still the usual jiggly thighs, and love handles sticking out.
There could be a number of reasons why you're not losing weight. Just because you are exercising, doesn't mean it's going to work. Everyone's body works in a different way. You need to find a specific plan for you. You really do need to look, and keep tract of your calorie intake. You might not drink soda, or eat a lot of junk food..but what you is healthy..really might not be. Try eating 4-5 small...small meals a day. So your body doesn't feel like you're starving yourself, and if you're hungry in between, have an energy bar of some kind. And with exercise, try different things. It might take a few tries to find something that works just for you. I'd change what you're doing in some way. Do the research. Maybe even visit your doctor, or a nutritionist to help out.
Simply a Rose to brighten your day,
And maybe lessen the cares in your way;
And also, too, to help you to know,
That in knowing you, many others grow!

If you need conversion info, 1 kg = 2.2 pounds and 2.54 cm = 1 inch (12 inches = 1 foot)
Info if you are trying to lose weight:
"How can I Lose 1 pound of body weight per week?"
One pound of body fat is equal to about 3500 calories. So to lose 1 pound of weight per week, you need to eat 500 calories/day LESS than you burn.
But it's not a good idea to lose weight simply by cutting calories. As well as decreasing calories you should increase your daily physical exercise. This helps to burn calories and build more lean tissue which in turn burns more calories.
"What should a minimum calorie intake be?"
As a guide to minimum calorie intake, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) recommends that calorie levels never drop below 1200 calories per day for women or 1800 calories per day for men. Even these calorie levels are quite low.
Average Teenager Weight

I'm puzzled.
Other people who exercise and do cardio and stuff can lose inches in weeks. I've been jogging, hiking, exercising, I sweat like crazy (which feels good) but my body still stays the same. I only lost a kilo. I don't drink sodas, I don't eat that much junk food, I drink about 8 glasses of water every single day. And still no improvements. I lost 5 pounds last year, and I gained about 16 pounds a few months ago. 16, yes, a lot. I hate it. What's up with my body that doesn't want to lose any freakin weight?
