I'm obsessed with zombies

Lol. I was just wondering if anyone thinks this too. I love zombie movies, comic books, games... I don't think it's so much of the gross corpses walking around, but more the reaction of people trying to survive. Of course zombies don't exist, but the...

idea of complete chaos within a society is what I find intriguing. The way people will resort back to their primitive instincts and how survival of the fittest comes into play. I like to think how I would go about surviving if I were put in the exact situation. Does anyone else share these retarded thoughts?

Lol, I don't think they're retarded thoughts. It's just fun to be interested in horror and zombies are just cool because they're dead yet they're still here walking around and they have some kickass features. Torn clothing, rotting flesh... it's just dark and morbid, which is always interesting.

If you like zombie music, I would reccomend the bands Creature Feature and The Misfits. You should definately see the music vid to the song Scream by The Misfits. It's awesome. :P

I'm actually a real life zombie...from about 8 til 9:30 in the morning, week days. And then from about 9 till 4 o'clock in the afternoon sundays =D

You should read Richard Matheson's I AM LEGEND of course the inspiration behind the Will Smith flick and The Omega Man...George Romero was reading the book when he was writing his first dead script. It is very apparent. There is a short story included that seemingly inspired Romero's nomenclature...Dance of the Dead...and you can see much borrowed. The original Dawn of the Dead is one of my favorite movies.

It's not weird. I love Zombies and Zombie movies. I have a friend who is an author, you light like his book. Look out for Dead City by Joe McKinney.

I think that anything about the walking dead is great, even the tacky horrors are still great.

Why do you like them?

Zombies do actually exist. They are based on the Voodoo religion (Haitian Vodou) and the state is brought on by drugs and some say black magic. I think its really interesting.

Get this book a The Living Dead by John Joseph Adams, it's a bunch of short stories or exceprts from books about all kinds of zombies. I'm reading it now, a friend lent it to me, and I'm like WOW I would never think of that! there are so many different scenarios and different kinds of zombies and sutff, it's awesome! oh

movie wise, stuff like The Rising and The Undead, 28 days later, and 28 weeks later etc etc...get the book though! it's friggin cool!
