I wish I could get over it...but I can't. Love is a very strange thing and works in mysterious ways. What I want to know now is, how can I tell her how I feel. What if she doesn't feel the same way, and hates me for telling her the way I feel. Plus, it doesn't really help that she likes to cuddle,she wants me to rub her back alot, and every time I'm around her, she always finds a way to touch me (either she play hits, lays down and puts her legs on my lap, or comes up and cuddles)...but she has a boyfriend...If you were to ask anyone, these are the things someone does if they like you. But she is one strange cookie, she could do something, and mean something totally different...I'm lost, and don't know what to do.

Like many of you, I fell in love with my cousin. The only difference is, I told her. Before I did, I had convinced myself that she felt the same way, because it just seemed like she did. I told her on the phone one day and she got really upset by the whole ordeal, and said something along the lines of I never want to talk to you again. She had told her parents, who then told my parents. It messed up my life to this day, 2 years later. Just recently, we saw each other again, and she seemed happy to see me, but she didn't want to talk about what happened. After she left I tried contacting through email and she ignored me until I convinced her mother to get to talk with me. The reason I wanted to talk was because I wanted closure. She never gave me any, and I eventually said, I never wanted to see her again because every time I do I revert to a depressed state that really never goes away but just gets worse. I'm still in love with her, but I had to let her go. So the point to this sad tale is, do not tell your cousin under any circumstance that you love her in that way unless you are willing to risk a great friendly relationship. And don't tell her when she's only 15 like I did.

I'm not in love with my cousin or anything but I think that you should just mention the thought of what if y'all were ever to date.. Sorry I don't give great advice.. I myself, from time to time, get afraid of admiting my feelings.. But if she cuddles with you and puts her feet on you and all that other stuff you mentioned it's her way of telling you she has feelings for you but she herself is afraid of admiting that she has them.. Her boyfriend may be her line of security or w/e... Take a risk I guess but always have a cover up.. Unlike the guy who told his cousin on the phone lol.
