Why does my bunny always have poop on his butt?

He always has poop stuck to his butt and its hard for me to pick him up or cuddle with him knowing he smells horrible and has poop on his butt. Any advice for this?

i dont know my guess is that you should clean his cage more often so there wont be any poop for him to sit on

I would groom him like someone would do a dog. shave the extra hair around that area so there is no chance of it getting matted. I have five pekingese and I shave there butts so that doesn't happen.

i had a rabbit and i loved and first off DONT SHAVE HIM... he is not a dog... go to the vet that takes rabbits... also u probabley have to clean his cage more but u should probabley have that looked at because rabbits clean themselves so something might be wrong

clean the cage. Also, sometimes you can train them to poop in a corner thingy. You can get them at any pet store. It just goes in the corner, they poop in it and then u dumb it out
