I like my friend, but I dont know if he likes me

I told this guy that I've known for like two years or more that I like him...And that I've liked him for a long time...And all he said was "you like me? Thats cool" how do I can I tell if he likes me? I sent him a picture of me cause he didn't have any and he wanted one and he said that he really likes the picture...but I dont just want to come out and ask him if he likes me...is there any other way?

This is a good one. All I have to say is that there is no way to find out if this kid likes you unless you ask. Say something like "I just want to know if you like me, but if you don't I still want to be friends." If he says that, yes, he does like you, then go on with your life, but if he says no, say, "Okay, well, I dont want this to butt into our relationship as a friend. Can we just forget it? If he says no, well then he isnt worth being your friend anyways. Just forget about him and live life boldly.
