I've liked my best friends girlfriend for years

is also a good friend of mine and I told her my feelings and she was like I bet she would break up with j.r for you because she used to have a crush on you in the 6th grade (we are in 9th now we didn’t go to middle school together) and I know what your thinking she’s just trying to mess with me but she was being serious and she is one of my best friends like I know her really well so she wouldn't lie about something like that. And j.r. Told me that he might break up with her and tell her he just wants to be friends first because when they are together they don't talk much but I told him he should just stay with her because I don't think its rite for me to tell him to break up with her just because I want to go out with her. What do yall think I mean I really like her like we went to 5th and 6th grade together and I liked her then too I just never talked to her but now we talk and give each other friendly hugs in the hall way and she always smiles and her eyes widen up when she sees me I really like her like I almost never fall for girls I mean i’m good looking and I could get a girl if I wanted to. There are lots of pretty girls that go to my school and they like me but I have like really high standards like I don’t want to just go out with anyone and then break up two days later I like long lasting relationships and I don’t want to go talk to my best friend and be like I liked your girlfriend since like the 6th grade and then lose him and I don’t want to not take a chance with this girl of my dreams (like I have dreams about her lol ) and wonder what could have been and I also don’t want to tell my best friend to break up with her and then I go in for the rebound and date her and things end up not working out and then I don’t have a best friend or a girlfriend and I don’t want to go up to her and ask her if she likes me then I will just look stupid because she will be like no, i’m your best friends girlfriend so i’m really confused and twisted up inside like I feel sick just thinking about it, and I know shes not a piece of meat that we can just toss back and forth between each other but just give me some advice

I am in this situation right now, me and this girl called Alice that I really have feelings for have dated previously in the past and I had to end it becuase I was so shy and still and. I really love her so much but she seems to have a good relationship with her current b.f. Also he is one of my best mates so I wouldnt wanna fall out with him. me and Alice are really good mates and I dont want to hurt or fall out with her. So I really have no idea what to do. well I sort of had this situation...I liked this girl(not for as long as you) and she was dating a good friend of mine...but see I took the chance and talk to her lots and she ended up liking me A LOT. so she ended up dumping my friend for me...my friend got over it and were buddies again and I have been dating this girl for 6 months now(best thing ever) and I really enjoy it...lifes about taking chances, I would hate going through life thinking...what if?? wouldn't you?

Man this is a familar situation I am having a very similar thing happen to me and I know the only thing I can do is either wait for them to break it or just move on.

Well I have to admitthat I had liked my best friends g.f. since like 4th grade.at the end of 5th grade she broke up with him and I thought I had a chance but at the beginning of 6th grade her friend asked her out and he said yes, she told me that she just didn't know what to say or do so she just went with the flow for a while. I over heard a group of girls talking about my b.f.f and heard his g.f.'s name and the word breakup and I don't know what to do. a few weeks later [now] it's near the end of the year and my b.f.f. is still going out with this girl that I want to askme out but it's confusing. I think she trusts me and I think she has enogh confidence to ask me out but I don't know what to say to my bro ofr her to go with this and I want this to happen like bee4 the end of the year. I NEED HELPNOW!!!

Wow im havin the same problem, only the girl im talking about I just met. I've been friends with this girls boyfriend forever, like since kindergarten (we just finished freshman yr of high school). but his girlfriend of about a month is just so cute, nice, funny and just about everythin I would want. I have no idea what to do. as much as I want this girl maybe it would be best to just be friends for now and talk and everything and then wait for the relationship to end.
