Can I dye to a nice platinum blonde?

I have natural dark brown hair but I want to go blonde. If I bleach it, can it get like blonde but nice platinum blond? I do not want orange goldish.

WHY?????? Dark brown hair is pretty, and yes it will turn orange.

It doesn't matter on how long the hairdresser leaves it in for? How good the product used on my hair is? It has to be possible at a considerably low price...

try l'oreal perfct blonde creme bleach. leave the bleach in untill your hair is your hair is blonde enough (about 1 hr)

yea it will turn orange...but if you leave it on long enough the orange will kinda come off. after you bleach, get a box of blonde dye, and dye over the bleach. it should help. also, ash colors take off the red-orange color. and then condition condition condition. leave your conditioner in for about 5 min. and then do a deep conditioner afterwards. I like Aussie's 3 minute miracle. it's cheap and works!!! leave that in for another 5 min. and only wash your hair in cool water. if you use hot water, it's more likely to cause breakage and that's the last thing you need after all that coloring!
