Ok, here's how you do it. You need also to get either fake eyelashes or The waterproof two in one Maybelline mascara. -- this stuff works, trust me. Thickens and stays.
a lot of people line only the bottom lid, but I think it looks trashy and amateur-ish. Apply the bottom one first, go on the inside of the lashes then use a pencil and fill in. Make sure it dries COMPLETELY before doing the top.
close your eye, then with one finger, tighten the lid (by king of pulling outwards, it's easy) then do a very thin line with the pencil, then go over it with the liquid. go from corner to corner, don't start from the lashes and go completetly out to the corner to join with the bottom lid. WHATEVER YOU DO, KEEP YOUR EYE SHUT UNTIL IT DRIES COMPLETELYYY!!! Otherwise you'll end up with a line somewhere above your top lid and then you have to take it off and it's so much effort.
Then apply the mascara (or fake lashes) or if you happened to not do the top lid, then apply the mascara or lashes. Lids come first then lashes. ALWAYS otherwise it's too hard to do the liner.

yess you just have to be careful not to get it in your eye. I like to put liquid on the bottom because its more darker

Yeah, you can, but I don't suggest it. It hurts like a b*tch when it gets in your eye. I do it RIGHT under the waterline.
